How do fish breathe in water ?

In the world, fishes are found in all types of water bodies except the Dead Sea and boiling water. There are about 30,000 species of fish available. Many species are found in fresh water and many in salt water. Like all animals in the world, fish also have to breathe to survive. We fill our lungs with oxygen through our nose, but the way of breathing of fishes is a little different.Is.

They absorb the dissolved oxygen in the water. In the body of fish, instead of lungs, there are gills (special respiratory organs) for breathing, through which water enters and they absorb the dissolved oxygen in the water and pass it to the blood circulation.

The tail of a fish is its biggest helper for swimming in water. The fish swims in water by contracting or expanding its muscles. While swimming, it keeps changing direction by tail like steering of a vehicle. While swimming, the fish maintains the balance of its body through its other fins.
